June 16, 2009 Konftel, Europe’s leading manufacturer of conference phones, will be launching the Konftel 300W in Q4 2009. The product can be previewed at InfoComm 2009, which will take place on June 17-19 in Orlando, USA. The Konftel 300W is a completely wireless conference phone with a rechargeable battery that provides up to 48 hours of talk time. Its wireless connection to DECT bases allows you to hold audio conferences wherever you like in the office - even in rooms where there are no phone lines. The Konftel 300W features SD call recording and a conference guide that helps you set up multiparty calls. Konftel’s patented sound technology OmniSound® 2.0 provides crystal clear sound and industry-leading echo cancellation to enhance the quality of all your phone meetings.

DECT is a well-tested wireless standard in terms of security and audio transmission. A range of up to 650 ft (200 m) gives you the flexibility to move the unit to wherever a meeting is being held. The Konftel 300W is GAP compatible and can be integrated with existing DECT systems.

The Konftel 300W connects easily to your mobile phone or computer via USB for VoIP calls. Its Line mode function provides the capability to switch between DECT, mobile phones and USB and combine them for multiparty calls.

The Konftel 300W comes with a rechargeable battery giving you up to 48 hours of talk time and 10 days/240 hrs of standby time. The battery status and the range to the nearest DECT base are shown on the large screen. The Konftel 300W comes with a charging stand to ensure the unit is always charged and ready for the next meeting.

The Konftel 300W has built-in recording capability using an SD memory card. This feature allows you to archive important meetings or play them back to people who were unable to attend. Audio files can also be played back or stored on your PC by inserting the SD card into the computer card reader.

Save your contacts in the phonebook and use the conference guide for easy set-up of multiparty calls. If you regularly make conference calls to the same participants, create groups in the conference guide and call everyone simultaneously at the press of a button.
