“CTIA events have long served as an opportunity for the global mobile industry to come together,” said Robert Mesirow, vice president and show director for CTIA. “As we enter the ‘Mobile Decade,’ collaboration and business relationships will continue to span geographies. We’re excited to see this trend continue with the expansion of pavilions from China, Taiwan and Spain, global speaker participation, as well as a steadily-increasing international attendee base. From the keynote stage to the show floor, this year’s event will offer a truly global perspective on the wireless industry.”
CTIA works closely with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Buyer Program to bring exhibitors and attendees to the show. DOC International Trade Specialists will be on hand in the International Business Center to provide matchmaking assistance and export trade counseling to exhibitors and international visitors.
A global group of carrier CEOs will take to the keynote stage, including executives from AT&T, Deutsche Telekom, Sprint Nextel and Telefónica discussing advancements in the global mobile marketplace.
