African Sports and News Networks Embrace Revolutionary Low-Cost Satellite Flyaway System from ATCi

1 year 3 months ago → Contracts

PHOENIX, May 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Antenna Technology Communications Inc. (ATCi), a provider of commercial satellite communications systems and services, announced the introduction of its specialized family of pre-packaged flyaway systems. The new family of flyaway broadcasting systems was designed to meet the unique requirements and applications geared toward small African Sports and News Networks as well as other applications including universities for distance learning applications, new satellite channels, existing channels to broadcast specific program feeds, large corporations to provide live feeds from headquarters to remote sites, and news agencies for transmitting live news feeds.

ATCi's pre-packaged flyaway systems are available in 1, 2, 3 and 4 channel packages in both C and Ku-band depending on customer needs. Standard packages include the antenna and all related indoor and outdoor electronics that will handle encoding, modulation, transmission as well as monitoring of the satellite signal. The systems are offered all-inclusive, in stock and pre-tested for maximum reliability allowing for quick set up and fast time to air.

"Because of the success of our custom systems for satellite broadcasting applications in other parts of the world, ATCi designed a system that would allow even small African News and Sports related broadcasters who typically could not afford to own their own system to provide content at an affordable price," said Gary Hatch, ATCi's CEO. "ATCi's low-cost high quality system responds to market demands by allowing all media outlets large or small the ability to finally own rather than rent and broadcast their own content," Hatch concluded.

New technologies provide incredible cost savings. Priced aggressively, with systems well under its competition, ATCi has already provided these packaged systems to customers worldwide making the Company a leader in satellite transmission systems.
