India remains a hotspot for mobile communications with a 50% growth in wireless communications in the 12 months to May 2009. The latest numbers by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India showed 11.59 million new wireless subscribers in May making a total of 415.25 million wireless subscribers. In order to attract and keep these new subscribers, 90% of which use pre-paid tariffs, service providers install reliable and easy to use automated payment and customer care solutions.
