Huawei Integrates LSI SP2600 StarPro Media Processors Into Next-Generation Networking Products

MILPITAS, Calif., Aug. 3 -- LSI Corporation (NYSE: LSI) today announced that LSI(TM) StarPro 2600 multicore media processors have been integrated into next-generation wireless and wireline infrastructure products built by Huawei Technologies, Ltd., the largest networking and telecommunications equipment supplier in China. It is anticipated that LSI will supply a broad line of StarPro media gateway technology to Huawei for use in their universal wireless and wireline product lines.
