San Jose, Calif, March 4, 2010 – ADLINK Technology, Inc. a leading provider of trusted embedded products, today announced availability of the cPCI-3610 Series, an ultra low power 3U CompactPCI® processor blade based on the latest Intel® Atom™ processor family on 45 nm process technology. Utilizing Intel® Embedded Flexible Design, the cPCI-3610 can be populated with any of these three Intel® Atom™ processors: the N450, D410, or D510. By utilizing these processors, which integrate graphics and memory controllers in the CPU, the cPCI-3610 Series has a power consumption of only 15 W with single-core CPUs (N450 or D410) and 19 W with the dual-core CPU (D510) at 100% loading. This allows the cPCI-3610 to support fanless operation and provide excellent computing and graphics performance.

The cPCI-3610 Series is equipped with up to 2 GB of soldered onboard DDR2-667 SDRAM and an Intel® 82810HM I/O Controller. Intel® Hyper-Threading Technology is supported to deliver thread-level parallelism with 2 threads per core. The integrated graphics on the Intel® Atom™ processors provide outstanding 3D graphics performance at resolutions up to 2048x1536 @ 75 Hz, 32 bit. Other graphics features such as Intel® Dynamic Video Memory Technology (Intel® DVMT 4.0), DirectX9, and Intel® Clear Video Technology are also supported.

“ADLINK’s cPCI-3610 Series CompactPCI® processor blade with the Intel® Atom™ processor D510 provides an optimal combination of dual-core performance, 3D-rich graphics features, extremely low overall power consumption and cost effectiveness. ADLINK has also created extended operating temperature range and rugged conduction cooled versions. This 3U CompactPCI® blade is well suited for mission critical markets such as military, transportation and automation,” says Eric Kao, Senior Manager of ADLINK's Modular Computing Product Center.

“The latest Intel® Atom™ processors N450, D410 and D510 and the Intel® 82801HM I/O controller provide an integrated ultra low power two-chip solution that provides scalable computing power and enhanced graphics performance in a small footprint with reduced cooling requirements,” says Jonathan Luse, marketing director, Intel Low Power Embedded Products Division.

The cPCI-3610 is available in 4HP/8HP/12HP versions with Gigabit Ethernet, USB, COM, PS/2 KB/MS, Serial ATA, audio and QXGA analog video support. Optional 32-bit, 33/66 MHz PMC or PCIe® x1 XMC site and Rear Transition Module are also available.

The cPCI-3610 Series supports Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional, RedHat Enterprise Linux, and Wind River VxWorks.
